Steam Jet Compressors, or more normally Thermocompressors,
employ high pressure steam to compress low pressure, or waste steam, up to a
specified intermediate pressure. They are used to reclaim waste streams and in
evaporation, distillation, cooling, crystallisation, deodorising or degassing
plants to employ waste vapours from one stage, to heat a subsequent process
stage.
