Application: Evaluation of the feasibility of continuous low/medium shear dry mixing, wet granulation or dedusting of dry powders.
Capacity: The nominal capacity is 400-1200 l/h of dry product depending on bulk density and application. Max. bulk density 2.4 kg/l.
Specification: The plant is equipped with a rotating drum with sealed inlet and outlet. Dust is removed from the product outlet. Liquids for granulation, wetting or dedusting can be added through a rotating distributor or through a two-fluid spray nozzle at a rate of 200-3000 ml/min. depending on the viscosity.
The dry feed is supplied by a weighbelt feeder and liquid is added through a peristaltic or Mono pump at a specified rate per min.
Agglomerated product must be dried in a fluid bed after discharge from the Zig-Zag®.
