Steam Jet Liquid Pumps, also called ejectors, employ
steam, or possibly another vapour, as the motive medium to lift and entrain
liquids. They can be used on simple duties, like lifting rainwater/spillage
from tank bunds, or, as the motive steam condenses and is intimately mixed with
the suction medium, they can also be employed on more specific applications,
where the duty is to lift, heat and convey a liquid.
